The durometer exclusively for various foam materials such as urethane
foam, sponge, etc.
There is no need to press the durometer into the specimen, but just to
place it onto the specimen. As it is soft, the weight of the durometer
constitutes the pressure to the specimen.

The ASKER Durometer Type F for much softer specimens
(low hardness) gives accurate readings as it features a larger indentor
and pressure foot.
Pressure foot plate is designed to be smaller in dimensions and an oval
shape in accordance with the size of powder puff.
The ASKER Durometer Type F is specified exclusively
for powder puff.
There is no need to press the durometer into the specimen, but just to
place it onto the specimen. As it is soft, the weight of the durometer
constitutes the pressure to the specimen.
It has recently been used additionally for gel materials, soft rubber
rolls, etc.

There are various types of durometer available based on different
